Our School Day

Our School Hours - Children are in school for 6.5 hours per day.  In total, the children are in school for 32.5 hours per week as per Government requirement for primary schools. 

Mornings:

School starts at 8.30 am when the playground gate opens.  We allow a flexible start for our families and keep the gate open until 8.45 when it is promptly closed.

We encourage all children to arrive at 8.30 so that their learning is fully maximised through morning tasks and booster sessions. 

Registration is taken at 8.45am and our Assemblies start promptly at 8.50am. These are an important part of the school day and children's learning. 

If you arrive at school after 8.45am, you will need to bring your child to the front entrance and sign them in as late.  This will affect their attendance %, well-being and learning. It is important that you help your children become Attendance Heroes and arrive on time every day.

End of the school day:

School finishes at 3pm for all year groups - We will open the gates at 2.55pm.
