Oracy Intent

At Moorland we aim to develop dialogic classrooms that are rich in talk and high quality language role models. We strive to develop our pupils' critical thinking skills, effective questioning skills and to ensure each individual is an eloquent, articulate and expressive speaker. Oracy is the driver of change and a vital life skill that is key to equipping our pupils to be heard, not just in school but in the wider world too. We intend to have oracy embedded and woven into all curriculum areas.
