Design and Technology Intent

At Moorland Primary School we intend for all our pupils to develop lifelong skills and a broad range of subject knowledge within Design and Technology, including disciplines such as maths, science, engineering, computing and art.

Pupils will learn how to take risks, be resourceful and become enterprising, capable citizens who participate in an increasingly technological world. Pupils should develop the skills of critical thinking, design, construction and evaluation.

We want our pupils to understand the history of design and technology, the impact of it on daily life and contribute to the creativity, culture, wealth and wellbeing of the country and the wider world.
