Music Intent

At Moorland we intend for everyone to find their inner musician. We strive to inspire creativity, self-expression and to encourage all our pupils to embark on their own musical journey and will provide them with opportunities to connect with others. We aim to foster a life long love of music by exposing them to diverse musical experiences and igniting a passion for music. By listening and responding to different musical styles, finding their voices as singers, performers and as composers, we will enable them to become confident, reflective musicians. We have specialist teachers working with our pupils throughout the year offer a singing club for our KS2 pupils to build confidence in singing and performing.
