Art Intent

At Moorland Primary school we intend for all pupils to be able to share and express their individual ideas by exploring and creating paintings, sculptures and other art using a range of design techniques.

They should understand how art and design contribute to the culture and wealth of our country and other cultural heritage. 

Pupils will develop practical skills in developing ideas, problem solving, evaluating and analysing creative pieces using the language of art and design. We want our pupils to experience the enjoyment and satisfaction in the design process, in equal measure to take pride in a finished project.
