Wellbeing at home and school

Welcome to our wellbeing page

Promoting children and young people's wellbeing is a key part of keeping them safe, helping them develop and ensuring they have positive outcomes in adulthood (Public Health England, 2021).

During the pandemic, some children may have enjoyed being off school, while others may have struggled with being isolated from their family and friends. Others may be coming to terms with family issues, loss or changes to their living situation. It's still unclear what future changes we may all face. Even though the lockdown has eased, we are still facing changes to our normal lives.

As parents and carers, there are ways you can support children to give them the best chance to stay mentally healthy. It is only natural for you or your child have some worries and anxieties; this is completely understandable. There are lots of resources available to support families in these times (which are listed below) and we are always here to offer any help we can.

We dedicate every Wednesday to our wellbeing - We call it "Well-being Wednesday" and the children and staff enjoy zumba or yoga, mindfulness, social groups and so much more!
