Together we can ... learn at home
Our Remote Learning Strategy can be found by clicking on the link below. This is a working document that we are continuing to develop over the coming weeks. During this challenging time as we enter a second National lockdown we are working hard to ensure that your children are still able to access high quality learning. Please let us know if you need a device for your child to learn on and we will happily give you a laptop or tablet to borrow. Together we can make home learning a success!
What we already have in place
Nursery (Ladybirds) and Reception (Owls) have access to Tapestry. This is our online learning journals where we can post videos and messages to you all and you can reply. We will share our teaching, story times and ideas to learn at home and you can send in all your home learning. Our Early years team will respond and offer next steps for every child.
All children from Year 1 to year 6 confidently use Seesaw at school and will be able to use this learning app independently at home. We will share messages and post work for each child to complete at home. Staff monitor continuously and will feedback on all learning and give additional challenges and support as needed.
Please keep your child's text and QR code safe and treat them like a password.
Exciting developments starting any day soon!
We have been supported by the DFE and been given free IT support to set all our pupils up with their own Microsoft email address for online learning through Teams live lessons. When this is up and running we will be able to teach whole classes of children again just as if they were all in school! All you have to do is get the children out of bed and ready to learn! Our teachers will do the rest!
