We work in partnership with the Primary Inclusion Partnership to support pupils with behavioural and SEMH needs.  The main aim of alternative provision in the primary sector is to refocus children  so that they can be successful in mainstream school.

Admisisons for pupils with disabilities:

No child will be refused admission to school on the basis of his or her special educational need, ethnicity or language need. In line with the Equalities Act 2010, we will not discriminate against disabled children and we will take all reasonable steps to provide effective educational provision (see Admission policy for the school, as agreed with the Local Authority)

However, if the school feels because of existing commitments in a year group they cannot meet need effectively then they will be clear as to the reasons why.
